AKWA IBOM STATE POLYTECHNIC CALL UP STRIKE
The Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic ikot osurua ikot Ekpene the campus has been involved in a random strike of ASUP that have been affecting all polytechnics in Nigeria just for increase of the %percent of the Board money to lecturers, which have been a series of problem to Lecturers going on strike in the Education sector in Nigeria which have cause backwardness to Academic career of students in Nigeria and Akwa Ibom State polytechnic have being also suffering from the terror of strike back from 2010, 2011, 2013 now 2014 which have just last for three month and half, but I believe that the Federal Government of Nigeria should try to focus on the Education sector of the nation so that lectures and students should not suffer set back in their career. Report sent to me that the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic have been call back that the strike have just been with held that lecturers, staffs, students, Board of Trusty that should all resume to their to normal duties in the campus.
