Winifred Oshiomhole is governor Oshimhole's daughter and she's older than the bride so when she was noticeable absent at her father's wedding, tongues began to wag. But explaining why she was absent, Winifred said;

"The information for the day was not properly circulated, I would say I was busy taking care of my life, work and my family and I must have missed out on the plan, I cannot say for the rest of my sisters but I am sure we were not properly informed. I wish the couple a great married life and I am sure she will make my father happy.."

Yesterday May 15th, Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole married his gorgeous wife, Lala Fortez. Speaking about her nationality and why he chose her, the 63 year old former Labour leader said;

"I have seen a lot of publications, some saying that she is Philippine, Dutch and several others, but she is from Cape Verde. And that is part of West Africa. And I hope that will rest the debate of where she is from,” he said regarding her nationality.

About why he chose her, the governor said

"She is very humble, she appreciates the nature of my job and life that it is one that one comes back home late. Sometimes 3: 00 a.m., she understands my weaknesses, she is more or less the mother of the house, the one that has accepted to be the mother of my children. I am happy that all my children are at home with ‎her and accept her as their mother even though she is not old enough to be their mother. She has accepted to fill that gap,” he told PM news

A young man was found dead at the rail track at Fagba area of Iju Lagos this morning. People assume he fell off the moving train last night. His body is still there and they are asking the right authority to come remove his corpse. They also believe his family lives around Ijoko in Ogun state and do not even know what has befallen their family member.

From what I gathered, over 150 tickets were allegedly sold by Arik for an aircraft that can't take up to that number of passengers. Speaking during the unveiling of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Limited Oke-Aro 330/132kV transmission substation in Lagos yesterday Friday May 15th, Vice President Namadi Sambo who was represented by the Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, said The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company and Eko Electricity Distribution Company account for over 40% of power consumption in Nigeria.

He said this was understandable from the fact that Lagos, which used to be the country’s capital remained Nigeria’s commercial and industrial hub with a large concentration of industries in Lagos state and Ogun State. Oke-Aro is situated in a border line between Lagos and Ogun states.

A lot of Nigerians do not know that Nigeria is a secular state and they are also not aware that the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not require that Buhari take his oath of office by swearing with the Quran. The drafters of the constitution made it crystal clear that any Nigerian of any faith or no faith can hold any office. It would have been very easy for the constitution drafters to include it in our constitution that the president should be sworn in with the Quran. But they didn’t. In other words, placing a hand on a Quran while reciting the presidential oath is simply a tradition that is not backed by the constitution. Meaning, it is absolutely unnecessary.

22 year old Lindenwood University student and wrestler Michael Johnson, who is HIV-positive, and filmed himself having unprotected sex with numerous men, has been jailed.

Investigators believe he could have knowingly infected more that 30 people with the virus since October 2014. Police found 32 home made sex videos on Johnson's laptop and each flick showed him with a different sexual partner. Most of the videos were recorded in his dorm room.

The police believe that the college student's partners didn't even know he was HIV positive nor did they know they were being filmed.
