Chelsea, Stroke keen to act on winger’s Future.
Stroke City are reportedly plotting a move to sign Chelsea
Winger Victor Moses for next season.
The Metro claims the deal is very close to completion as all
three parties – the player, buying club and selling club – are keen to get a
deal done.
Not too long ago, a permanent move to Stroke City for Moses
seemed like a foregone conclusion.
The on-loan winger really settled well under manager Mark
Hughes, becoming an integral part of an evolving and almost promising side
(alongside similarly revitalized, later injured Bojan Krkic).
Just as the rumor mill was starting to kick into gear, the
Chelsea loanee got hurt and was ruled out for the rest of season. As usual in
such cases, he had returned to Cobham for treatment and rehab and his Stroke
future was suddenly not so obvious.
It’s unclear which option Stoke are pursuing or which they
would prefer, but the local paper claims that Mark Hughes would be okay with
either.
