Broncos to release veteran TE/FB James Casey reported

The Broncos will release tight end/fullback James Casey, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Casey had yet to record a catch or carry in the three games he was active for in 2015. The club signed the former Eagles and Texans player to a one-year deal in April.
Denver needs to make a roster move no later than Saturday if defensive end Derek Wolfe is going to play against the Raiders on Sunday. Everything head coach Gary Kubiak said this week made it sound like Wolfe will be on the field. Cutting Casey be the move to open up a spot for the defensive end on the 53-man roster.
