PREACHING THE GOSPEL THROUGH MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY PASSION – EVANG. Abel Abel

In 1993, when, as a young man, Evang. Abel Abel decide to born again Christian, two issues resonated in his mind; to be a committed follower of the LORD JESUS and also to harness his lifelong passion to preach the gospel through music.

Same year, this passion led to the formation of his first gospel music group, with his brother; Abel John as the other member of the group called; “The Triumphant singers”.

In 1999, with much musical experience gained, he was afforded the privilege of occupying the envious position of atemple psalmist in his local church, where he functioned and still functions regularly, as a worship leader.

Evangelist Abel was inspired in the act of song writing by gospel music icon; Don Moen.

Already in his repertoire of gospel lyrics are 500 songs.

According to him, he has not stopped writing.

The worship leader who has vowed to continue to serve GOD till the end hails from Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. His father, Chief Effiong Abel Akpan, also a GOD fearing man, has been of great support in his life and career.

Evangelist Abel is married to his sweetheart, Mrs. Comfort Abel and together they have raised two lovely children; Uduak Abasi and Peace.

His debut gospel music CD title “I Will Worship You” is due to be released soon.

He has gotten invitation to minister in many churches and governmental organization among wish are Light Aflame Ministry, Akwa Ibom State Hotels & Tourism Board Choir where he help to build and many more.

He is the president and founder of EVANGELICAL SUPPORT INITIATIVE (ESI)A none governmental organization which is aim at expanding Young Ministries for Kingdom Growth.
