About
Chrisclem Tech_ is transforming Africa’s tech landscape by unlocking the potential of talented youth from underserved communities. Established in 2010, our tuition-free software development academy online is on a mission to empower the next generation of tech innovators while driving inclusion and innovation across the continent digitally online.

Launched with our inaugural cohort in Ikor in 2020, Chrisclem Tech has expanded its footprint (2018) and ikor (2020) and is now delivering our world-class curriculum at public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges. As of 2024, we’ve graduated over 5,400 software developers online, with 56% successfully placed into full-time tech roles within leading companies, fuelling Africa’s digital economy.

Our Program
Our rigorous 16-month programme is accredited by the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) at National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 3 (Higher Certificate) and by Quality Council for Trades and Occupations(QCTO) at NQF Level 6 (Diploma). The programme is delivered through an innovative peer-to-peer learning methodology. This approach equips our students with the technical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills they need to thrive as junior software developers and engineers. We bridge the gap between unemployed youth that have potential as techies and opportunities that are in the industry due to skills shortages. By providing internships with our corporate partners, Chrisclem Tech ensures seamless transition into the workforce.

Our Impact
